                 SEWING WORKSHOP - For children and teenagers (From 8 years old)

 

 

First impression of the working place, discovery of the fabric and the material.

Learning to sew on the machine.

Creation of different accessories, of their own choice, clothing, decorations item... they always dreamed about.

Initiation and understanding of a pattern (for example, understand and follow a certain pattern in a sewing magazine).

During the workshop:

- The sewing creation will be chosen according the child or teenager abilities and according their needs or ideas.

- Selection of fabric (according the project).

- Tracing and transfer of the pattern onto the fabric.

- Cutting of the different pieces, whipstitch then sewing together with the machine.

- Hand finishing.

- Customization of the work with different accessories.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday after school... contact me and we'll arrange a time together

Wednesday afternoons... contact me and we'll arrange a time together
Saturday mornings 9.30-11.30

Duration : 2 hours

 

Number of participants : Minimum 2, maximum 3

 

Fees : 40.-chf per session (furniture included*)

 

Registration : for a workshop or several workshops; possibilities to buy a card of 5 or 10 sessions, at a lower rate.

* furniture included : all the necessary sewing material (to measure, mark, cut, iron, pin, sew, stick, button, zip...) as well as the equivalent of 1 m of cotton printed fabric or cotton color fabric per creation.

For a specific or bigger project, please feel free to bring your own fabric. I’ll be happy to assist you in the choice of the fabric. You may as well purchase some fabric in my workshop, rate to be discuss.
